From Abby - TRUUNK FEEST Heyyy Hiii Im so grateful that we'll remember this earth life with vivacity because each day I mourn a bit at all the little memories and nuances that I will forget.  This week was splendid  Im tired but oh so happy  It started with a HAIRCUT I haven't cut my hair since March and yes I'm kinda mourning the three inches that were LOPPED off.. I know that im never having short hair because I already miss the length it was :D  We then cooked all our miles driving up to DI to thrift with the district (worth it)  As I'm rummaging I hear Sister Hutchinsons cute lil voice "Hi!" When I turn around, Im expecting to see her and her comp Sister Tipasa, but who do I see?  SISTER CHRISTIANSEN.  We run up to her and give her BIG surprised hugs, she told us there was an ET (Criminal) and we proceeded to thrift together :) Thrifting/Pday adventures include: -Elder Hess taking ONE step into the thrift shop and discovering a green suit and pants...

From Abby -   "Did you like it when I recited Shakespeare to you?" Heyyy Hiiii, Here I am again typing away with my thumbs  Im currently blessing Sister Atwood because she fished out a charger that fits my keyboard (love her) so I'll be TYPING soon. I feel good about this week  The day of my return date is encroaching at  lightning  speed and im constantly fearing for my life while equally rejoicing in alll that is to come  My phone just notified me that 16 months ago today I entered the mission feild. Crazy. I wonder if we felt similar in the premortal life before we would speed here to earth, have placed on us a veil of forgetfulness, and gain a mortal and fallen body to be tested. This is probably EXACTLY how it felt.  Especially thinking about progression and development.  I think a big reason why missionaries get trunky is because they feel they have progressed as much as they can in this specific setting... Although I disagree with NO p...

From Abby -  "You're humor is so dry you gave Elder Killpack a nosebleed" Hi Humans  9:00am  Is Sister Smith capable to get a Pday email out on time? MAX doubt... one can dream  Each week goes faster and faster.  Also my keyboard died and my charger is LOST, so here I am typing away with my slow thumbs.. Last pday we were able to go to the temple as a zone and it was one of the most sacred experiences ive had thus far..  God was able to teach me through his spirit that the temple is where we can be the MOST vulnerable and open to our mistakes and imperfections.  When we bring our mistakes to him, he is not a God of judgement, but a God of forgiveness and change I don't know why we hide from him! Heres part of the zone since the other half dipped the chat before we could take a picture.. Im going on a family fast for the last few weeks of my mission, so I'm not calling my family at all! They'll see me when they see me :)  That being said my email i...

From Abby - TWENTY ONE :D GUYS  There's simply TOO much to say (Theres probably not that much I just figure out how to yap it up) Please forgive the late email.... Last monday I woke up SO OLD. SO SO OLD  WRINKLES, ANCIENT, ACHING.  Catch me saying things like "wipper snapper" or "Get off my lawn" or "fiddlesticks"  Guys 21 years??? Thats ages old The fact that im in my twenties makes me want to CRY.  This birthday was a sweet birthday though, riddled with little ribbons of intentional acts of kindness and a surplus of joyful acknowledgement.  Sister Atwood made me pancakes in the morning just like my dad would and for that I ADORE her. Throwback to last year when she was literally my companion :,)  -Sister Beasley ran upstairs with a BIRTHDAY CROWN, different colors of paper folded into triangles and taped together so tenderly saying in her happy Sister Beasley way "HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY"  -We were 45 minutes late to Bangkok Wasabi (Where I wante...
