From Abby - "You're humor is so dry you gave Elder Killpack a nosebleed"

Hi Humans

9:00am
Is Sister Smith capable to get a Pday email out on time? MAX doubt... one can dream

Each week goes faster and faster.
Also my keyboard died and my charger is LOST, so here I am typing away with my slow thumbs..

Last pday we were able to go to the temple as a zone and it was one of the most sacred experiences ive had thus far..
God was able to teach me through his spirit that the temple is where we can be the MOST vulnerable and open to our mistakes and imperfections.  When we bring our mistakes to him, he is not a God of judgement, but a God of forgiveness and change
I don't know why we hide from him!
Heres part of the zone since the other half dipped the chat before we could take a picture..

Im going on a family fast for the last few weeks of my mission, so I'm not calling my family at all! They'll see me when they see me :)

That being said my email is STILL going to be sent out late even though I supposedly have extra time..

Laughed at sister Atwood trying to record voice messages SOO many times this week. It brings me back to when I trained her and we were trying to voice memo all of our leadership :)

MLC on tuesday where we were able to brainstorm as a mission about what we REALLY wanted to stand for in the UOM
I love being a woman because tell me why the writing was so neat and organized

Sister Brown and Sister Dimitrov <3

I went on exchanges again with Sister Hethcote this week
I don't know how to put into words how much I love Sister Hethcote
It's kinda funny because at any given moment I have NO clue how much its reciprocated, for all we know she could just be really annoyed..
That being said I admire her with my whole soul and simply can't keep it in, I just want to tackle hug her until I die

Their bikes were cooked so we had the opportunity to walk together in the crisp February night talking about anything and everything.. Here are some of my favorite highlights of the exchange
-Sister Hethcote in her classic outfit.. if you know you know
-Running into members that I've met before.. strange experience
-Their Australian HCOM who led out a FANTASTIC missionary meeting.. before we walked in Sister Hethcote was like "Oh yeah we're leading the spiritual thought" wild. XD
Throughout the whole meeting I was LAUGHING at his accent and quirky commentary, he gifted us lil makeshift cardboard gift boxes with lil Koalas inside. Shoutout the one salty ward mission leader who hasnt caught the vision yet..
-Looking through Sister Hethcote's quad and Book of Mormon, wondering at lil markings and specific tabs, flipping through each page carefully (or not so carefully) marked.. There is something so special and intimate about someone's scriptures, its like their heart embedded into pages and markings :)
-Listening to Sister Hethcote play Ukelele/drum on random things to make lil songs
-Sleeping on the top bunk XD right before we went to bed (probably slightly passed curfew) in the dark Sister Hethcote was like "If only we could go on a drive and talk to 2:00am) and i responded "After the mish, trust." Then I threw my hand over the bed and we had a FAT pinky promise to see eachother again..
-The morning routine with Sister Hethcote (SIMPLY unmatched).. Almost died going on a run and playing pickleball... She set up the nets (#imuseless) and then made me a YUMMY egg and bacon breakfast

There's so much more to say but the moral is She's MY best friend
This picture sums up our dynamic
Shoutout apartment I lived in for 6 months

Look at my cutie comps this week

I've been BLESSED with amazing trios FR

There's a Lady in our area named Kenyha who we have been texting for EIGHT MONTHS. EIGHT. No missionary in Suncrest has ever seen her face until this fateful Thursday night..
Somehow Kenyha didnt cancel, shes REAL.
Its weird because the lesson wasn't cray its just unheard of to actually meet with her!
If anything I learned a lesson of Consistancy because I kid you not we be TEXTING Kenyha every single week without fail.

EVERY night this week leading up to his baptism we had a lesson with our friend Frantz!
I'm grateful for Frantz and the Hation Creole missionaries we got to teach him with :)

One of the lessons their third (Elder Killpack who I thought was a pros missionary but I was LIED to he's actually a service missionary) was super sick and STRUGGLING with a bloody nose in the corner and Elder Jeune in the most sly, casual, unphased way turns to Sister Rhinehart and states as FACT "You're humor is so dry you gave Elder Killpack a nosebleed"
In Sister Rhineharts own words from her email:

"FLOORED. The nerve. The gall. My companions won't defend me-- they instead gasp and watch as my eyes get big with shock...and of course, I start laughing even harder. I mean, we're all laughing really. Elder Larson was probably laughing the hardest second to me-- it was a plain and precious moment, even if it was borne of "ill will"

FRANTZ WAS BAPTIZED

Rip Elder Killpack NOT appearing in this photo
Rip my arm not around Sister Rhinehart

Frantz's baptism came together beautifully as they always do, and another precious soul has been bound to our loving Heavenly father :)

Sang in a valentines ward party "Love at home"
I also got to craft some valentines for my Sisters and was gifted a valentine from my Recent convert Leah (its now in my scriptures)

This week we did LAST minute exchanges with the Sisters over the Poly stake and I was able to spend the evening with SISTER DIMITROV.. AH I love her with my whole soul.
We almost DIED eating dinner
I would gain a BILLION pounds if I served in poly FR
Put someone on DATE!
There was one friend in particular we visited with and when we sat down with her things felt off.. I watched in front of my EYES Sister Dimitrov shift the entire lesson plan, simplify it down, and testify of Jesus Christ.. she read Alma 7:11-13 and replaced certain words with Enas name..
After the lesson Ena shared that her dad had been in a car accident that morning and she started crying.. I watched Sister Dimitrov wrap her in a warm hug
I just sat there in amazement at the beautiful soul that she is and how blessed I am to do missionary work with her.

Also I got to speak in Stake conference!!
I'll attach my 7 minute testimony
Def wrote it that morning on my phone

THATS ALL
I LOVE THIS GOSPEL
