From Abby: I Believe in Christ so Come What May
HEY
I'm LOCKING in. This emai will be sent today. Its currently 5:00pm
Last week pday
-Last Sistrict activity, got Chick Fil e and ate it while playing stupid epic games like Black magic, green glass door, and around the world
-SOBBED over trying to figure out university things.. Why is it so IMPOSSIBLE to figure out anything ever when it comes to applying, accepting an admission offer, or signing in to any university account ever.
theres got to be a heaven stat for how many times my Dad has had to endure me SOBBING over the phone to him.
Good Dad. Love that guy
Our stake President Jed Smith joined us for a lesson with Kauge (our Beloved dear friend)
we taught f the plan of salvation, and testified of so much more beyond this life.
Brother Hall CHEFFED up chicken alfredo and the spirit just poured into the room without compulsery means.

The Gospel brings belly aching laughter. for sure
Tuesday was SIMPLY insanity.
We got Sister Williams things off to her new apartment in Alpine first thing in the morning (So sad)
At 11:00 we drove to the mission office to meet up with the APS so we could drive to the MTC to get the new greenies!!! As we were standing outside of the MTC Sister Christiansen called us to ask a question and I laughed at the Irony, Yesss MTC comp!

We had lunch with them, took a sister missionary out with us for her FIRST hour of proselyting in the feild EVER
then came BACK for the trainee meeting/actual transfer meeting
SISTER WILLIAMS AND I ARE TRAINING SISTER RHINEHART. INSANE.
We're actually picking her up TODAY (She had to finish up service missionary things)
We're actually picking her up TODAY (She had to finish up service missionary things)
Then we had the actual transfer meeting which RUINED my life.
I was sitting there in the front row simply SOBBING. Tears were streaming, sobs were unstoppable... I watched Sister Bowser, Ortiz, Faitau, Sister and Elder Ellis.. AH
It brings me a lot of comfort that we have a life after this one because I NEED to see all these people and do missionary work with them again.
At the end of the meeting once missionaries were departed I realized Sister Williams wasn't doing well. People surrounded her in a worried buzz, when I joined the group and actually got to see her she explained that her body was the worst its ever been...That she couldn't feel her arms or below her knees and her hands were cramping up... People bombarded her with questions and eventually after Sister Brown and nurse Pulley had a chance to chat with her we determined that after a quick Priesthood blessing we would go to the ER.

I ran out and pulled the car around, when I looked to my right out of the passenger window I saw Sister Williams, shaking, worried, out of pain or anxiety I don't know, barely able to shuffle her feet along. I said a prayer in my heart that I could remain calm and that all would work out in the end.
Once we wheelchaired her in it was a plethora of waiting, being bombarded with more questions, more waitin
g, more questions, I let her squeeze my hand when they put the IV in...

The mission Nurse (Nurse Pulley) is QUIRCKY, and she got to be with us the whole time which was insane but also fun.
After 2 hours of being in the ER we ended up talking about boysss and dating advisee (guys nurse pulley brought it up we swear)

We got home around 10:00 pm absolutely exhausted with no answers
the debrief of the whole day on the drive home went CRAY. Sweet moments between her and I :)
bless the ZLS for giving a blessing :)
The next few days were ROUGH
I got hit with that time of month the next day and so we both were hit pretty bad with exhaustion, emotions, pain etc

BUT we had a baller weekly planning and were laughing the whole time.
I told Sister Williams it feels like we're a couple on vacation away from our children, because we're a duo companionship about to get ANOTHER third.
This whole week has felt like a respite, being able to focus just on eachother and not worry about training or a third.
It was exactly what we needed this week

24 hours after the ER visit we were in a Lesson with our DEAR friend Leah.
Leah is on date for baptism at the end of this month. She explained to us some pretty heavy family circumstances that are HARD.
We explained to Leah that the adversary was going to do ALL in his power to stop her from making this covenant with God and that she needs to keep fighting. Leah said she understood and it was a good conversation.
When we walked out, Leah stopped us, looked us in the eyes and said
"Sisters I need you to know something, I have to say this before you go: I can see it in your eyes that you have been through something. I don't know what it is but I know. My spirit knows. You just explained to me that the adversary is going to do everything he can to stop me from being baptized? How much more do you think he will try and stop you from helping me? You are on the front lines, and it's going to get worse, so whatever hard things come between now and my baptism, its because of this great thing that we're doing. So lets do it." HUH?? Sister Williams and I almost started crying, especially with the perspective from yesterday and how exhausted we were that day, Leah spoke of truth.

We had just explained this whole principle to her without applying it to ourselves and it was eye opening.
Satan is cunning and I don't like him at all.
The next morning (Thursday) Sister Williams and I went with Nurse Pulley to LEHI to the cardiologist (Bless ER visit bumping her to top priority)
We're getting closer to answers :)
They gave her a perscription and a list of a TON of suppliments

1 hour later we were in Good Earth listening to a lady tell us all about Magnesium, Vitamin B and Kreatin (Or something like that)
we def invested in some cool rustic chocolate to cheer us up.
When we went to Target for the perscription we walked in to see a CLOSED pharmacy.. We looked around baffled to see a sign that said "Closed 1:30-2:00 for a lunch brake." I look at my phone: *1:47pm*

yes we spent 10 minutes browsing target

hopefully no one called prez telling him that he had APOS missionaries browsing in target on a Thursday afternoon because thats DEF what it looked like
We accidentally locked ourselves out like FOUR different times this week because the keys went MISSING.
Utah Winter:
We followed up with one of our Ward mission leaders: Brother Shepherd in the 10th ward (Legend) on a part member couple in the stake he said he'd visit and bro straight up tells us that he was visiting with them the DAY that we were in the ER, and ON that day they said they wanted to take the lessons.
GODS WORK GOES ON. We cannot frustrate it, even when we're in the ER doing zero work.

Had a cute lil giving machine shift :)
Throwback to last year I CAN'T believe I was casually doing the giving machines a year ago too. The giving machines are SO cool. The church is SO true

After a long shift we came home and yes we locked ourselves out again.. We decided to go to Zupas and it healed me :)
Pretty comp photoshoot. AH I'm obsessed with her
Had a SKETCHY meeting with this old lady... We initially ran into her son and invited him to meet with us, when we went to go track him down at his house we found his MOM instead.
She invited us in and the conversation started normal until she started saying SKETCH things like "I can be a monster." "He was scared I would poison his food" and "I am forbidden to have visitors." We learned that her family is scary and somewhat abusive when it comes to religion and so she's not allowed to do ANYTHING. At one point in the conversation she was like "I Think they're home" and with literal anxiety peeked through the windows to search for the headlights of their car. Sister Williams and I sat there in FEAR because HUH? Should I hide in a closet type beat?? She did that one more time and then was like "Okay they're not home, we can visit for 10 more minutes" and I said "UMM We actually have to go right now. We're so sorry :D" (In my mind I was like get us OUT.) We gave her our number and a Book of Mormon and DIPPED.
Creepy.

We followed up over phone on Sunday though and she said she'd been reading it and that it brought her warmth and peace. We got to explain that it was the spirit etc. So... That's a win.
Neighbors put up Christmas lights for us:

SO GOOD. So lifechanging for me after my mission:)
The WHOLE week this week the Hymn "I believe in christ" has come up with EVERYTHING. Especially with this week its been the theme of Sister Williams and I's life.
